معاً اس کے بجھے بجھے سے چہرے کو دیکھ کر اثنان نے والہانہ اپنی باہیں کھولیں تھیں ۔۔۔ تو طوبی شاہ آنکھوں میں موٹے موٹے آنسوں لیے تڑپ کر اس کی باہوں میں آن سمائی اس کے سینے سے لگی تھی ۔۔۔ تو اثنان کو لگا تھا جیسے دنیا بھر کا سکون اس کی باہوں میں سمٹ آیا ہو ۔۔۔ اس نے شدت سے طوبی شاہ کو خود میں بھینچا تھا ۔۔۔

 تو طوبی شاہ اس کے سینے میں چہرہ چھپائے شدتوں سے رو دی تھی ۔۔۔ ابھی تو سب ٹھیک ہوا تھا ۔۔۔ اب تو ان دونوں نے ملنا تھا کہ پھر سے دوری ۔۔۔ طوبی اثنان کے جانے کا سن کر اداس ہوئی تھی اور اسے سامنے دیکھ کر وہ خود پر کنٹرول نا رکھ پاتے رو دی تھی ۔۔۔ اس کو اس طرح روتے دیکھ کر اثنان کی آنکھوں میں بھی نمی تر آئی تھی ۔۔۔

ایک لمبی جدائی کی مسافت طے کرنی تھی دونوں نے ۔۔ اور وہ ایک دوسرے سے دور ہونے پر اندر ہی اندر گھٹ رہے تھے ۔۔۔

طوبیٰ اثنان کی پشت پر ہاتھ باندھے اس کے سینے سے سر ٹکا کر ہچکیاں بھر رہی تھی اور اثنان ملک اس کو گھیرے میں لیے کھڑا اس کے دل کا بوجھ ہلکا ہونے دے رہا تھا ۔۔۔۔

“اثنان کی جان “۔۔۔۔ کافی دیر رونے کے بعد بھی جب وہ چپ نا ہوئی تو اثنان ملک نے مشفقانہ انداز میں نہایت مدھم آواز سے مخاطب کیا تھا ۔۔۔

“ہمم”۔۔۔ تو طوبی اس کی سرگوشی پر سسکیوں کے درمیان فقط اتنا ہی بول پائی ۔۔۔

 “رو کیوں رہی ہے میری جان “۔۔۔۔ اثنان ہولے ہولے اس کے بال سہلاتا ہنوز انداز میں بولا تو طوبی کا دکھ جیسے طوالت اختیار کر گیا تھا ۔۔۔۔

“اثنان آپ مت جائیں نا”۔۔۔ وہ بھیگی آواز میں دکھی ہو کر بولی ۔۔۔ تو اس کی اس شدت محبت پر اثنان کے لبوں کے گوشوں میں مسکراہٹ بکھری تھی ۔۔۔۔
